Antioch Presbyterian Church, particularized in 1944, was established for the purpose of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to propagate, “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Formerly part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) the church joined the Associate Reformed Presbyterian denomination (ARP) in April 2023.
The current pastor, K.L. Buffaloe, has served as pastor since November 2007.
What is Presbyterianism?
Presbyterian refers to our form of church governance. We believe the clear biblical pattern is for churches to be governed by presbyters (elders) who rule jointly in what are called “church courts”, i.e. presbyteries and the General Assembly.
At Antioch, we subscribe to the Westminster Standards consisting of the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Larger Catechism, and the Shorter Catechism.
